Week 2 (long Vowels and Heavy & Light Pronunciation of the letter ل)
- We revised reciting Quranic words with Long Vowels Alif Maddi, Wow Maddi, and Ya Maddi.
- Heavy & Light Pronunciation of the letter ل. We learned in which conditions Laam in the name ofالله and اللهم is pronounced heavy and light.
In class Arba’een Majlis:
We were fortunate enough to commemorate the Arba’een of Imam Hussain(as) in our class on Friday. We did a little quiz about Arba’een and talked about what lessons we can learn from Imam Hussain’s sacrifice (AS). Some of the answers given were Be Patient, Always stand for truth, Be loyal, and Believe in God.
MashaAllah, the kids are progressing. Inshallah, very soon we will start using the Quran in class.
