The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it
Thank you for volunteering to join the Quran Teacher’s Training and for your interest in teaching Quran. It is a Sadaqah Jaariyah that will remain as long as your students are reciting the Quran.
Insha Allah, I will post more information here as we progress.
This training requires lots of listening and recitation. I would request you to increase your listening and recitation and recite at least 2 pages of the Quran daily and if possible recite along with the recitation of Qari Husary or Minshaw.
The classes will start Jan19th every Friday 7:30pm – 9pm.
We will have approximately 13 lessons that covers the theory and Insha Allah we will help each other with practical lessons throughout the week and the summer as well.
I will be referring to several books in Farsi and Arabic but if you want a concise English reference, you can get Sh. Arastu’s book
Format of Class
1. We will begin class at 7:35pm with a 20 mins discussion on the general teaching guidelines. This session is a combined session for all teachers. Insha Allah, will tell you more in the first class
2. From 8pm to 9pm, we will have our tajweed class. I will introduce the curriculum in the first class and also explain how to practice and submit assignments
