As for these last few weeks, we will be more focused on the recitation from the Quran and try to practice the rules we have covered this semester.
Week 15 ( Rules Of Heavy and Light ر)
Heavy and Lightر: When the letter ر is tacked with a Fatha or a Dhammah, it will be pronounced as heavy.
If it carries a Kasrah, رwill be pronounced light.
If ر has a sukoon, then look at the previous letter to see if they carry a Fatha, Dhammah, pronounced heavy.
If it carries a Kasrah, ر will be pronounced light.
