This week we covered Waqf rules.
– If the last letter has a short vowel, we read it with Sukoon.
– If the last letter has long Fatha, we read it as it is.
– If the last letter has Fathatain (double Fatha), we read it with long Fatha.
– If the last letter has kasratain or dhammatain, we read it with sukoon.
Message of the Quran:
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٢٨
“Those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort.”
[Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28]
